There’s no shortage of amazing restaurants to enjoy, such as Sunny Point Cafe, Jargon, West Asheville Lounge and Kitchen, and Taco Billy, to name a few. You’ll also find local breweries and venues, like Ambrose West and Archetype, or shop at Harvest Records for your favorite record on vinyl. Carrier Park is a widely popular park, featuring trails, velodrome, roller hockey rink, playground, volleyball courts and more! There are miles of trails that connect to the French Broad River Greenway at the French Broad River Park. If you’re looking for smaller parks, there’s Malvern Hills and Gassaway Fields. Mountain bikers and hikers can find some local fun at Richmond Hill Park Trail. West Asheville is also known for its collection of murals. As you drive around town, you’ll notice large, beautiful murals of Dolly Parton, Joan of Arc, and more!
