About Missy

Missy Thompson Jenkins is a fifth generation native of Henderson County. She began her journey in real estate 2001 when she accepted a position with Biltmore Farms Inc, the largest residential and commercial developer in Western North Carolina. Missy joined the team to bring the first mixed use development to this area– Biltmore Park Town Square.

Missy worked primarily in the commercial real estate sector until 2008, when she decided to focus full time on raising her family.

Missy has extensive knowledge of the area and has a passion for helping others fulfill their dreams. She is excited to work with Patton Allen with a focus on introducing new clients to the unique and multiple benefits our area provides. Missy brings a multitude of skills that are beneficial to buyers and sellers.

Missy is engaged and vested in the people of Western North Carolina by providing her time and resources to local non-profit organizations such as Children’s Well-Being League of Buncombe County, Junior League of Asheville and Eliada Homes. She is also vested in organizations in Henderson County that include SafeLight, Advent Health and Four Seasons Hospice. Her primary focus is on the well-being of women and children.

In her leisure time, Missy is often traveling with her husband and daughter, who dances competitively with a local performing arts team. She enjoys experiencing new places and cuisine whether traveling abroad for its renowned culinary scene or exploring the Caribbean with friends or family. She is also a mom to fur babies, Brownie and Jazzy that adopted the Jenkins simply by showing up.
